Kathryn closed her eyes, suddenly feeling tired and stressed. She wasn’t sure how long she could keep this whole charade up for with all the flirting and pretending to want him but she had to. No one else could do this duty. Her life depended on it and perhaps her crew’s as well.

 Chakotay’s strong arms embraced her, not wanting to let go but knowing he’d have to soon. He whispered reassuringly, “Kashyk will never have what we have. I love you, Kathryn.”

That was all she needed to hear. "Thank you." Heartened, she left for dinner with the Inspector.

 Data linkage package: lima oscar charlie four two

 Stardate: 49690.1. Captain Janeway and Commander Chakotay were infected with an unknown virus leading to their placement in stasis chambers on the planet, astronomical marker MAD-430. No cure was found, Voyager left but returned later.

 Linkage algorithm beta charlie indicated a ninety seven percent probability that they created the virus and infected themselves so that they could continue their sexual relationship that they had begun in the Alpha Quadrant, unhindered by their duties on Voyager.

 There is a ninety three percent probability that they prefer a risqué sexual …
