Chakotay revisited his vast experience in the Maquis for his date with Valerie Archer. In the past, he’d had no qualms charming and even seducing to get the information required.

 Only this time it would be different. Instead of a casual no strings attached getting his leg over for the benefit of the woman he was trying to get the information from as well as his own, this time he had to tread a fine line.

 Kathryn was in the equation. She’d been worried. For him. For what they had. He’d be very careful and watch the time. For midnight.
