Great story, Pook! I loved Kathryn's determination and assiduous spirit that showed through out the whole fic. I absolutely loved how her love for Chakotay and her thoughts about his love for her were the strength that she need to endure all that she was put through.

I just love it when an author shows us all what TPTB failed to realize, that the Captain could be even stronger when she and Chakotay were together. And this is wonderfully evident throughout your whole story!!!

I have to say that the "subtle" psychological torture/deprivation that Kathryn went through was chilling to read, but the contrasts between that and torture at the hands of the Cardiassians was frightening. *shudders*
